All of the 508's powertrain options will be equipped with its e-HDi stop and start system (hence the improved economy), and after the new model has hit the market, Peugeot says the 508 will feature its innovative HYbrid4 technology that will deliver "200bhp performance with all-wheel drive and emissions of 99g/km of CO2 or zero in electric mode".

The 508 is slated to be revealed to the world at the Paris International Motor Show in October, and should go on sale in the first quarter of 2011.
